Morah Jodi Gore
Morah Jodi has been a familiar face to our school and the Jewish community. She worked as the PE teacher for the Maass Jewish Community Day School & Jewish Academy from the 2004-2005 school year through 2009-2010. Last year she also worked as a teacher of grades 2 - 3. In addition, she served as the MJCDS Admission Director during the 2007-2008 school year and helped to recruit several of the children who are now students in her class.
She has also been actively involved as a JCC staff person, having served as its first Center Director, as Athletics Director, and JCC Maccabi Coordinator. She is still the coach of the JCC J-Rays swim team. Jodi holds a BA Degree in Health Education from the University of South Florida in Tampa. In addition to the work she has done with children at our school and at the JCC, she has worked with numerous other children at many levels, having been a preschool director and regional trainer, worked as a camp counselor and camp director, as well as taught middle school and high school.
She is married to Bob Gore and they have two grown children.
